This is me @ 29 Weeks

29 weeks and getting bigger by the day (feels like it anyway)... Feeling great, just a bit tired.

This is me @ 28 Weeks!

I'm now starting to run out of clothing quite quickly.  Been through my cupboard 3 times already to sort out what fits and what doesn't, and my wardrobe selection is getting smaller and smaller by the week.  Uh oh!  Pay day needs to come already, so that I can dash out and get a few things.  Also doesn't help that it's so cold these days, none of my jerseys go over my belly, and I have one jacket that can JUST close.

I'm still in awe - it's so weird seeing how big my belly has become, and quite amazing to see how the body changes to accommodate the baby growing in there.  My little string bean is such a busy boy.  I am so in love with him already, and so blessed to be able to experience this miracle growing inside me.

Looking forward to our next Dr appointment, been listening to Drs orders, taking it easy, eating and drinking well.

26 Weeks... I'm so glad I decided to take these photos every week, it's amazing to see the changes.

My boy is busier than ever, I am sure I have said this before, but I just love feeling him move around.  I'm taking it as easy as possible, resting lots and making a conscious effort not to let anything stress me out too much.  

This is Me @ 25 Weeks

I took a pic with my phone towards the end of last week, it looked like my belly had popped.  Well, I think this week it popped properly!  I must remember to upload the other one some time.

I keep saying this, but the time is going by so quickly... 25 weeks, nearly 26!  I hope and pray my little string bean stays put.

This is me @ 23 Weeks

We made it to 23 weeks.  Time is still flying by!  Baby boy is getting busier by the day.  His kicks are getting harder and stronger...

I'm really enjoying being pregnant now!  The best part is feeling him move.  I'm still amazed at how you can grow a whole little person, from nearly nothing.  

Really looking forward to our next appointment on Thursday morning.  Can't wait to see how my baby has grown!

I'm officially starting to run out of clothing, and quickly.  Time to go out and get a few things!  My zip up warm jerseys and tops are not zipping up!

The girls at hubby's work wanted to see a pic of my belly.  So we took one!  Here I am at 21 weeks.  The belly dressed, and undressed!

Milestone: Half Way! This is Me @ 20 Weeks

My belly is growing so nicely.  Hubby says it's getting big - we were having lunch together when he leaned over the table to point that out.  Of course I beamed with a big smile.  I've picked up about half a kg too, so I'm sure the doctor will be happier with my weight at our next visit.  


My mom phoned - she wants to be here from day 1 in August.  It will be so great to have her with us, but I'm a bit stressed about hospital, coming home and settling in before having family visit us.  I know she's super excited, so I guess I can't blame her for wanting to be here.  I'm sure I'll want my mom with me... but still feeling a bit anxious at the same time.  Plus I haven't seen her in ages, I miss her terribly.  I'm so sad she's not with me to share this experience.  I send her photos every week, so at least she's being a part of things that way.  Hubby's mom has been wonderful, and she's not far.  We see her regularly.  I think both moms are over the moon.  And to be honest - who can blame them?  This is their first grand child!

This is Me @ 19 Weeks

I quickly took these pics this morning, I think my belly is going to get even bigger some time soon, it's been so itchy, no matter how much cream or tissue oil I put on.  Eeek.  I'm loving it though.  I can't wait for our next scan on 30th, and then there's the 4D on 7th April.  I'll be 20 weeks this week, half way already, where has the time gone!

My tummy is really starting to grow... 18 weeks, already?

I often wonder who this little angel will look like, if he will look more like me or more like his daddy, or if he'll be a perfect mix of both of us.  Still waiting to feel the first proper kick - the one where I will know it's the baby without a doubt.  This whole experience is actually so incredible, I wish I could stop the time for just a while...

This is Me @ 16 Weeks

These photos were taken yesterday.  I spent the day with friends at stables out in the country. Such an amazing day out, fresh air, rolling landscapes, beautiful horses.  Food for the soul.  I took a few really nice photos while I was there.  I'll do a new entry and upload a few of them.  I can't believe I'm already 16 weeks along.  Where has the time gone?   Almost half way.

This is Me @ 14/15 Weeks & Valentines Day.

This was taken one and a half weeks ago or so.  On Valentines day.  I quickly took this before I finished getting ready for work.  Oops, no make up!  I was about 14 and a half, nearly 15 weeks.  Haven't picked up a kg since my last doc appointment yet but my belly is starting to show, just a little!

Just thinking, on Valentines Day 2 years ago I had been out of hospital for nearly two weeks.  So much has changed since then, and all for the better.  So blessed to be pregnant again.

Our Valentines Dinner was so awesome, we went to our favourite restaurant for Indian food.  As always the food was delicious, I ate way too much (I skipped the meat - still not loving meat - but ate my fill on rice, gravy, vegetable chilli patties and more).  We got a gift as a thank you on our way out. A bottle wrapped in Christmas paper!  The bottle of red JC Le Roux is going to have to live in the cupboard until after baby arrives though.  Still a really nice touch, Christmas paper and all.

I got hubby a few of his favourite things - dark chocolate kit kat, cashew nut brittle slab and some home made rusks with a good old cheesy card!  We celebrate the anniversary of our engagement every Valentines Day.  On this day, four years ago he asked me to be his wife!

Me @ 13 Weeks

I forgot to post these photos.  This was me at 13 weeks, just over 3 weeks ago (taken on Thursday 2 February 2012).  I misplaced my camera cable, so happy I found it!  I really love this grey dress, my first maternity outfit bought from Mr Price.  I've worn it to work a few times already, and it must look good on me because I keep getting compliments.
